Homestay accommodation

Homestay accommodation in single rooms is available to individual students aged 16 and over. Students younger than 16 years old must share a twin room. Students may request to share a twin room with a student of a different nationality, however availability will depend on our other bookings.

Host families provide breakfast and an evening meal. Families are not required to provide Halal meat, however they can provide vegetarian meals. Special dietary requirements or allergies can be accommodated if specified at the time of booking, at a weekly supplement of GBP25.

Packed lunches are provided at the school.

Residential accommodation

All residential accommodation is in single, en-suite rooms at Clive Booth Student Village, part of Oxford Brookes University. It is available to students aged 12 years and over. All bed linen is included and rooms are cleaned once a week. Students are required to bring their own towels and a hairdryer if required. There are coin-operated laundry facilities available at the accommodation.

Students are required to pay a deposit (GBP50) on arrival when they collect their room key. This is returned to them on departure, provided that there is no damage to their room.

Students may be asked to change rooms during their stay so that we can ensure that they are staying close to our residential staff members.

All meals (breakfast, hot lunch and hot dinner) are provided at City of Oxford College or a nearby location within the city centre.

Airport transfers

Airport transfers can be arranged at the rates advertised. Students may be required to wait a short time and to share a taxi with other individual junior students from our school. A private taxi can be arranged for a small supplement. Please contact us for details. All our drivers are DBS checked and in contact with the Centre Manager.

For students who are booked to travel with their airline as an unaccompanied minor, we offer a service where a specified person meets them on arrival and accompanies them through check-in on departure.

Where four or more students are travelling together, please contact us for group travel rates.

English level and age requirements

The students will complete a placement test on their first day. They are then placed in international classes according to level. The minimum class level is usually A1 (elementary). Tuition for beginners (A0) is available, usually at an extra cost.
